Pure Nickel Rod/Pure Nickel Bar <P></P><A name=OLE_LINK1>Xinxing specializes in producing high purity uniform shaped Nickel Rod with the highest possible density and smallest possible average grain sizes for use in semiconductor, Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) processes including Thermal and Electron Beam (E-Beam) Evaporation, Low Temperature Organic Evaporation, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Metallic-Organic and Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD). Our standard Nickel Rod sizes range from 1/8" x 1/8" to 1/4" x 1/4" and 3 mm diameter. We can also provide nickel rod outside this range and deposition materials for specific applications such as fuel cells and solar energy and for thin film deposition on glass or metal substrates. Materials are produced using crystallization, solid state and other ultra-high purification processes such as sublimation. Xinxing specializes in producing custom compositions for commercial and research applications and for new proprietary technologies. <P></P></A>&nbsp; Nickel Rod/Nickel Bar Properties: <P></P><BR>1: Nickel Rod/Nickel Bar has Good resistance to corrosion in acids and alkalis and is most useful under reducing conditions. <P></P>2: Nickel Rod/Nickel Bar is Resistant to all dry gases at room temperature and in dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride may be used in temperatures up to 550¡æ. <P></P>3: Nickel Rod/Nickel Bar has Resistance to mineral acids varies according to temperature and concentration and whether the solution is aerated or not. Corrosion resistance is better in de-aerated acid <P></P>&nbsp; Nickel is a Block D, Group 4, Period 4 element. It is highly electronically conductive and has many applications as a result. It is the basis of the nickel hydride battery. Most recently, its conductive properties have made it an ideal component for ceramic anode formulations used in oxygen generation and solid oxide fuel cell applications.
