It is also a reasonable conductor of heat and electricity. Additionally in the metallic form it has applications in batteries and electroplating. Nickel plating is used as a protective coating for other metals, notably in coinage. The standard <STRONG>nickel mesh</STRONG> sizes range from 0.75 mm to 1 mm to 2 mm diameter with strict tolerances and alpha values (conductive resistance) for uses such as gas detection and thermometry tolerance. <BR><BR><STRONG>Materials</STRONG>:<BR>The material is available in the following specifications:<BR>* From 5 wires per inch to 2,000 wires per inch. <BR>* From 1% transmission to 95% transmission . <BR>* Thickness from 3 microns to 250 microns. <BR>* Sheet sizes up to 22 inches square. <BR>* Standard openings are square. <BR>* 99.98% pure nickel. <BR>* Can be flashed with gold or copper <BR>* Can be black nickel coated <BR><BR><STRONG>Weaving pattern</STRONG>: plain weave, dutch weave and twill weave.<BR><BR><STRONG>Benefits</STRONG>:<BR>* Resistance to many chemicals
